The Step Off a Ten Story Building

Three years ago I stepped off a ten story building and put the fall into the hand of God.  The building is known as my control of my life and the insurance of my life because of my job.  Because of my position.  Because of my abilities to perform my job.  I have many medical problems and had been able to will myself to work despite my physical pain.  The time came when my will could no longer sustain me and I had to recognize my inabilities and take ownership.

I have been a reborn Christian  forty years. Member of a church and attended regularly.  Gave of my time and am a tither.  The last twenty years I have been trying to turn over my  life to God.  This is more than just belief and faith.  I wanted and needed to trust God with my life!   I had no idea what would happen to me and my world once I left my position and employment to go on disability.  I prayed and gave it all to God to handle in His time and in His way.  I did ask to please not let me hit bottom if possible.  So I jumped and began the free fall!

Passing the first floor was a since of relief and excitement!  Relief of work stress and the excitement of seeing God's hand in my life.  I praise Him everyday for His faithfulness to me.  Yes, God is faithful to His children as we should be to ours.  Hubby asked when will this check arrive, has such-and-such been approved, etc..  My answer?  I don't know, God is working on it.  Don't get me wrong I didn't just let things slide.   I did do the part I was responsible for and continue to do so.  God has fought every insurance and legal battle.  God has provided every financial need to the penny.  I don't have extra but I do not worry.  Every time a financial need arises He is there with the answer.  Thank you Jesus!

Sixty days ago my medical insurance expired and no other insurance company would pick me up.  I thought Medicare would cover but no for another six months.  God has seen to it that my doctors have lowered my visit costs and lowered it further than other patients,  I see very specialized doctors that are very expensive.  Even this lower rate with two of my drugs equals the monthly insurance payments I had been paying. One drug that is very costly was switched another brand.  This new brand does not work as well but there are no generics but affordable.  That leaves one drug with no generic or alternative company and is very costly.  My discounted pharmacy rate is $200.00 a month.  This is not affordable.  I do have mortgage and other bills.  I just found out yesterday that my Medicare has been approved and goes into affect in May.  Today I called the drug company and have been approved for their "help" program.  I expected another hundred off but - get this-  it is going to be free!!!  Thank you Lord!!

God has seen that once I truly was willing to jump off the ten story building of pride and let Him handle my life he has does provide every need in my life.  I never HIT bottom.  I landed safely and walk in His steps.  I enjoy His love and have the joy and peace in my life that can only come from God.

I have no idea what your ten story building is.  This is just the story of my ten story building and a leap of faith. Have a truly blessed day!
