I can't believe a year has passed!! I am still a baby hog and lovin' it! Nola (grand baby) loves her Grammy. I have discovered the joy of being a grandparent. I can be silly, playful, curious anything to since her life. She is all important to me. Nola is so comfy I am able to relax her enough to nap or sleep. Grand parenting is so much better than parenting!!
My daughter Sarah in CA went into a coma in mid-November. What a rush!! I flew out and she had come to when I took off and back in ICU upon my landing. Sarah's roommate picked me and took me to the hospital. I walked in that room to see a skeleton of what was my daughter. I knew she had been ill a couple of weeks but I did not expect to see her emanated. It turns out Sarah is now a type 1 diabetic. She had a wonderful team of doctors and nurses. I was there everyday on adrenalin. A week later on Thanksgiving I flew back home. Sarah was home and doing so much better. One thing I did notice was that the better Sarah became the worse I was becoming! Flying back was extremely painful and it took another week at home to get my back to calm back down again.
My niece became engaged and married my best friend's son that I introduced her to. It was a whirlwind romance that should be a movie. This is the first family wedding that the family was going to actually attend. Talk about your wedding drama!! The wedding turned out beautiful and everyone has relaxed and enjoyed it all.
God has been extremely good to me and my family. It gives me such hope to see His mighty hand in my life. As you can see life is a trail. 2011 has been a year of meadows, a thoughtful path turning into hills to climb up then run down the other side! Can't wait to see 2012 with my family and God's loving hand. Happy New Year and God Bless.
